And sad news to those who may not already know.... Stephen Gately passed away last night. Poor thing, he was only 33. That's the worst thing about people dying, because they can be taken from us at a ridiculously young age, I mean look at the 27 Club - Jimi Hendrix, Kurt Cobain, aaaand who else? Can't remember - Proper sucks, dunnit?
Anyway, not to get all emo on you again, I'ma sod off and probbly write more of my Tokio Hotel/Death Note crossover. So hi ho, hi ho, it's off to Uboot I go!

But obviously most people believe otherwise; They'd rather hold a grudge and dwell on the past to try and drive people away because they're scared that they'll be screwed over again but not everyone is as machiavellient as the person who caused you that harm in the first place... but you never know until you're in too deep. But if you hold a grudge for that long, you'll end up with no-one to confide in if you're in trouble, because you can't trust those closest to you. You can't even trust yourself to trust those closest to you. Because you don't want to make that same mistake of placing your full trust in someone to only get hurt again.
But to cut a long story short; if you want to move on with your life, you have to let go of whatever grudges you're holding. Sooner rather than later. Because holding grudges, really, is a bit on the immature side and you want to become a mature adult as you grow older. Forgiving doesn't always mean giving someone a second chance. Forgiving just means putting your mind at rest because you don't want to live in fear for the rest of your life. Be cautious, yes, but don't hide yourself away from the world. What good will it do you if you won't take risks now and again? What good will it do you if you hate the person that caused you harm, but you forget the actual harm they caused you? What's the point in that? Can you see the logic?
I get really philosophical bordering on poetic because of this and I'll tell you why: I recently lost a friend because of my own highly irrational behaviour. And not once has he actually told me himself, that I should back off. I have backed off, left him to cool down, but he seems to still be heated up about it. And I firmly believe his boyfriend is brainwashing him into hating me because of my behaviour, but the boyfriend is just really insecure, which as far as I can judge from his normal behaviour is not like him. And also, if you've read She Never Dared, that'll give you some insight as to why I'm like this on this particular topic. I have a quote or two for you guys too:
"I look back on past friendships and think 'One day, you will realise the horrible mistake you made in breaking up with me, and the worst thing is, I won't be there to take you back when you do'"
and
"I look back on past experiences and think 'I went through all this and survived'. Everyone goes through some shit in their lifetime but it takes a tough cookie to get out of that ordeal alive."
So yeah. It's better to forgive and forget, than to seek revenge. To seek revenge is only the kind of thing you do on a whim, but consider the long-term consequences.

Katie's become a fan of Death Note, and her favourite character is Ryuk. Of all characters, Ryuk. She calls him Lal and likes to try and scare people by shoving a pic of him into your face and growling "LAL!" It's so freakin adorkable.

For the past month and a bit I've been going to Biscom. Well, technically it's now PeopleServe, but it used to be called Biscom. So anyway. For like two, maybe three of those weeks, I'd be reading manga, borrowed by my mate Jason because the wankers of the group would be hogging the computers to visit websites like www.profilepic.com - and the people on that site would post, um, graphic pictures. NICE. *rolleyes* Fucking perverts.

Woke up at like 7:50, ready to go to Biscom, where I was nowhere near a computer all day, didn't get let out until 4:30 on the dot, walked home, then this guy came and got me to sign up to a karate club.
Now. I normally get about £100 a fortnight and of that I actually only see £15, but since starting Biscom I'd be getting an extra £30 on top of that. I thought that would take effect immediately but obviously not. I have to pay £24 for a 4 month membership thing and if I'm really enjoying the training I can get a life time membership.
Now. The "obviously not" thing comes from this: A reliable source has told me that I'm not actually getting that extra £30 this fortnight cuz I only started Biscom this week. You could have told me this before I signed up to the fucking thing, yanno?
So what I'll have to do is like... do the 4 months thing, save up for a uniform - it doesn't help that I'm saving up for LFCC too - and just leave it at that lyk. Maybe. Because I won't always have that extra £30, will I?
In which case I'm fucked. It doesn't help that said reliable source is making me all pessimistic about it, yanno?

Couple of updates; I'm feeling generally happier now than I did yesterday because it was one of those melancholy days where you fear your sanity, y'know, and um. Yeah. It's because I met up with her yesterday and she dragged me to Lanefields for no apparent reason, the smeghead. ¬.¬

--> A Japanese guy, Kinji Akimoto, moves to Wolverhampton, primarily to improve his English. Once he's settled in, and almost fluent in English, he bumps into a Gothic girl called Beth. They get along really well and quickly become friends, but it takes time for a real friendship to blossom as they both have trust issues.
--> They're in her bedroom one day, having a nice deep conversation, and as the room falls silent, they look each other in the eyes and share their first kiss. From that moment on they become a couple.
--> Beth's best friend Analeigh comes into town and is introduced to Kinji. Beth and Analeigh have a love/hate relationship though; she knows what Analeigh's like with a best friend's boyfriend.
--> One day, Analeigh and Kinji are getting to know each other a bit better, and Analeigh comes onto Kinji just as Beth sees them. Beth goes ballistic and doesn't talk to them for weeks.
--> Since then, Kinji and Analeigh have been ahving trouble talking without bringing up Beth and therefore having big huge arguments.
--> Analeigh feels really guilty for kissing Kinji behind Beth's back and wants to apologise, but knows how Beth is with giving forgiveness.
--> Beth is feeling merciful and forgives Analeigh, and she couldn't stay mad for long when Analeigh brought along a whole load of Flügels from Holland. Soon after that, kinji arrives and Beth greets him with a hug.
--> The three of them get tipsy on the Flügels. And the girls end up handcuffing Kinji to the bed and teasing him with Beth's chocolate pen and God knows what.
--> The morning after, Kinji wakes up in a position that looks like he's pimping the girls out. Beth's mom sees and already disapproves of him. Beth gets very annoyed and has to explain what happened the night before.
--> Beth's mom believes her and makes a joke about Kinji's "battle wounds". Beth and Analeigh "admit to being vampires" and Kinji knows it was in jest.
--> The three of them - Beth, Analeigh and Kinji - soon begin to regret that night because they don't know how they feel about one another, like who loves who?
--> They soon manage to talk things through and they're back to how things were before Analeigh came onto Kinji.
--> Happy Ending... Kind Of.

Busy day. Kind of. Woke up extra early too, to go for a Job Centre appointment thing, and then I had to get Steph's money, then I had to farry FP and Ahnie on Wreak Havoc, then I dyed my hair, then I farried Beku and Rae on CBUKST, then I packed, then I drugged myself up to the eyeballs in caffeine and then...
26th March
At about 1am I got a taxi to the coach station where the coach took me to Brum International, got there 3am, waited an hour to check in, then I checked in, blah blah blah, plane departed at 6:45am, got to Amsterdam at 9:10 Dutch time, got picked up by Melissa - YAY - and we got the train to Eindhoven.
We arrived in Eindhoven, Melissa had checked into the hotel the day before so I just went in. xD And I had like.... a 2 or 3 hour nap before the Negative gig. MAN it was cold out there, just waiting outside the venue, while I was finding it hard to keep my eyes open due to the all-nighter.
And then there was the gig. Melissa says to me that we got Jonne and Larry's attention because we were Dirty Dancing to their songs! xD awesome! And then I got back to the hotel with very achey knees and stuff and I pretty much passed out on the bed.
27th March
I did some shopping today!! Got souvenirs for everyone, kind of. Went all around Eindhoven, w00t!! I tried Frikandel with mayonnaise, curry sauce and chopped onions. It tasted oddly good, considering I don't like mayo and onions.
28th March
More shopping! Um, went to the cinema too, I watched Confessions of a Shopaholic. It was actually quite good! We meant to watch it the previous day but we never got round to it. Well, we did do a lot of walking that day so I guess it was out of tiredness that we didn't watch the film. Oh, and we got a bit tipsy on Flügels! We were playing I Never, we shared the Flügels between us, so we had like 20 each. I was left with 2, and she was left with 5. xD
29th March
Chillaxin Day. We only left the hotel to do a bit of grocery shopping! Otherwise we stayed in the hotel all day. xD So. Yeah.
30th March
We checked out of the hotel to head to Noordeloos! We had to get a train from Eindhoven to Dordrecht, then change trains from Dordrecht to Arkel. We got off at Arkel and Melissa's mom picked us up.
We got back to Melissa's place at roughly noon. One of the first things we did was watch THTV Caught On Camera and the commentary was SO funny!! Then we watched Death Note!! I even made her brother Michael a fan! We had dinner in between the two Death Note films but still.
Watched the second one which was muchly enjoyed. 31st March
Watched SO many films! Also played on the Wii. I think we watched... Panic Room, Twilight, Deuce Bigalow: European Gigolo, and I can't remember what else. I played Guitar Hero and Wii Sports!! I failed at Baseball and Golf but I kicked ass at Boxing, Bowling and Tennis.
That kinda wore me out. But that's cool. 1st April
We went to Gorinchem via Melissa's scooter today! She showed me around the place and various shops and stuff, and she even bought me ice cream! I also tried krokets today which was also nice.
And riding on a scooter is FUN!! After that we watched Cheaper By The Dozen. 2nd April
We watched Daddy Day Care today! And on TMF they ACTUALLY played Within Temptation!! As well as Krezip, Sweet Goodbyes. That song makes me want to cry but it's a sweet song so I'll let it off. It was in my head for the vast majority of the day which ain't good because today of all days, when I have to leave Melissa to go back home, and I have a goodbye song in my head. Bad combo methinks. Buuuut I came back today so yeah. I was in tears on the plane, when I saw Sarah - and I set her off because she loves me really - and a few times today because I'm a bit cranky/suffering withdrawal symptoms/whatever. And yeah.
Comment me some suggestions.
I will let you know if I prove Chris wrong again. Which'll actually be highly likely.
